Baltic Autopark›Vehicle inspection

A technical inspection before you buy

You have found a vehicle on a marketplace or in a listing. Our specialist travels to it, carries out the diagnostics and sends you a report with photographs and a verdict on the same day.

Baltic Autopark specialists in Lithuania, Germany and Georgia

Our specialists are already there

We work in several countries, so an inspection does not require a flight from Lithuania: the vehicle is examined by a specialist who is already in the same region. If you have a question about a particular country or marketplace, get in touch.

We call back during business hours.

What the inspection covers

The specialist works with the vehicle on site: body, suspension, engine and electronics, the documents and the recorded history, plus readings from diagnostic equipment. The result is a report you can act on — either to proceed or to renegotiate the price.

  • Body and geometry. Paint-thickness readings panel by panel, traces of repair, the state of the seams and the finish.
  • Engine and transmission. Cold start, warm-up, behaviour under load, leaks and the condition of the fluids.
  • Electronics and fault codes. Control units read out, stored and current faults, and whether the systems respond correctly.
  • Mileage and history. Odometer cross-checked against the control units and service records, plus the databases available to us.
  • Suspension, brakes, tyres. Wear, play and how much life is left in the consumable parts.
  • Documents and compliance. VIN, completeness of the paperwork, encumbrances and anything that would block registration.

Two formats

The format follows the task: check one specific vehicle, or view several options over two days together with a specialist. The technical scope of the check itself is identical in both.

Single inspection

One vehicle, a specialist on site, the report the same day.

Lithuania€90
Germany€90
Georgia€90

The price depends on the country. There is no distance surcharge.

  • The specialist travels to the seller’s address
  • A report with photographs and video on the day of the inspection
  • A verdict on condition and a recommendation on price
  • We arrange the appointment with the seller ourselves
VILNIUS ONLY FOR NOW

Joint selection

Two days with a specialist, viewing several vehicles in a row.

Two days of the specialist’s time€350
Travel outside Vilnius+€30 / 100 km

The service runs from Vilnius. Travel to other Lithuanian cities is calculated by distance from Vilnius.

  • Two days: the specialist accompanies you to the viewings
  • Several vehicles per trip, with no separate fee for each
  • A technical assessment and support in the negotiation on site
  • A written verdict on every vehicle you viewed

If the vehicle has not been chosen yet and the search itself is our job, that is a different service — vehicle sourcing.

The limits of the service

What an inspection does not guarantee

An inspection records the condition of the vehicle at the time of the check. That removes most of the risk, but it is not a warranty and it does not predict how long an assembly will last. We say so in advance so that expectations match the result.

Hidden defects without disassembly

Some faults only show once parts are removed. That work belongs in a workshop and is not part of the inspection.

Remaining service life

We assess the current condition; we do not put a figure on how many kilometres the engine or gearbox has left.

The purchase decision

The report gives you the facts and a recommendation. The decision remains yours.

What the seller does next

We have no influence over whether the owner sells the vehicle to someone else while you are deciding.

Questions about the inspection

How long does an inspection take?

One to two hours per vehicle. The report arrives the same day.

What if the vehicle turns out to be wrong?

You receive the report and pay for the inspection only. The verdict is yours to keep and to use in the negotiation with the seller.

Can you inspect a vehicle I found myself?

Yes — that is the main use of the service. Send us the link to the listing; we arrange the time with the seller and travel out.

Does the specialist negotiate for me?

Not in a single inspection — there the job is to record the condition. In a joint selection the specialist does take part in the negotiation on site.

When does the distance surcharge apply?

Only to the joint selection, and it is counted from Vilnius. For a single inspection the price depends on the country alone.

Can a vehicle you inspected be taken on lease?

Yes. If the vehicle is suitable we pass its details to our leasing partner; the terms are discussed by phone.

We will inspect the vehicle you chose

Send the link to the listing, or tell us where the vehicle is. We will agree a time and quote the price before travelling out.
